Hi, I'm Hannah.

An interest in the beauty of natural landscapes has been a thread running through my life for as long as I can remember.

As a child, I spent countless hours outdoors with my Mammaw and Pappaw in a small coal town. There was a special place hidden behind their trailer that my Mammaw called the "Moss Garden," where we would go together and gather moss to take home and arrange in glass vessels. Every fall, everyone in the trailer park would hike a little ways up the mountain to a flat where we would spend the day cooking apple butter in a large kettle over a fire. There was a maple tree I loved to climb and decorate with strings of beads while my Pappaw shouted for me to be careful. All of these connections to land, plants, and community informed my sense of creativity.

Long before I became a florist, I worked on diversified farms in Virginia and North Carolina, managed ornamental and medicinal gardens, designed specialty gardens for businesses, and spent years growing plants for market. My background is rooted in agriculture and horticulture, and that fascination with watching things grow shapes every arrangement I create.

Today, I grow many of my own flowers on my small mountain property in Western North Carolina, where I am slowly establishing a cutting garden filled with native and hard-to-find varieties.

My design style is nature-led, modern, and a little unexpected. I love creating designs that feel discovered rather than manufactured. I'm inspired by woodland edges, overgrown gardens, and the shifting seasons.
